IR-T8A Touchless Surface Mount Exit Button

The IR-T8A is a touchless surface-mount exit button designed for
access control applications. It allows users to request door release
without physically touching the button, providing a convenient and
hygienic exit solution.

The unit operates on DC12–24V and provides NO / NC / COM output
contacts. Its sensing distance can be adjusted from 5–20cm, while
the output delay can be adjusted from 0.3–30 seconds.

How Does the Touchless Exit Button Work?

Standby — Ready

During normal standby operation, the IR-T8A displays a
blue LED indicator.

The sensor continuously monitors the detection area without
requiring the user to physically touch the unit.

Hand Detected — Exit Request Activated

When a hand enters the configured sensing range, the
IR-T8A detects the movement without physical contact.

The LED changes to green to indicate a
response, while the NO / NC / COM output changes state
according to the connected access control system.

The sensing distance can be adjusted from
5–20cm, allowing the response distance to
be configured for the application.
